would you believe me if i told you i use a really nice camera? like a professional style single lens reflex ten gazillion pixel whatever it is with auto focus? i just have an incredibly high user error rating.

i couldn’t pick today’s picture so i’m putting up both. the first is such classic morning desk situation, everything all thrown up and unsorted. the second is so much calmer and nearly still, but for a few bits that never manage to get sorted, no matter how hard i try.

it feels like it’s been forever since i had a cup of coffee! espresso that is. but here it is after days of forgetting to bring in the milk and being too busy to make a cup. that’s a small selection of my fountain pens strewn about my desk – just another of my habits that i can’t explain and i can’t give up. correction: won’t give up.

an americano as the milk done run out and i forgot to bring in the new carton. also i just can’t get over my new cups. and the shaking is overtaking my already meager ability to operate the camera. pity. seems like it’s gonna be a busy busy day.

it took a long time to get to work this morning and by then i was peevish and contrary, but then my sweet maria’s espresso monkey arrived with TADA! new cups and, more importantly, saucers! which i have been deprived of for almost a whole year. so yay!
