maybe i should withhold judgment until i keep this up for longer than a week, eh?

all of my steaming pitchers are dirty as are most of my mugs, so i steamed the milk right in the mug, my modus operandi since i am too lazy to wash the pitchers and apparently the cups….point being? oh yes, slightly curved base in the mug, lots of good pressure from the machine (as she is affectionately called) causing a cascade of milk and foam overflowing, well, spitting out of the mug, rolling over the edges, spraying the side of the machine, landing on the toaster oven tray (conveniently stored on the floor) and, finally, spritzing the dog as he came in to clean up my mess. that is the cycle of the of a coffee.
