bonus cup of not coffee

mulled wine. i told you i was on vacation! this is a hot chocolate cup that i bought for my sisterinlaw one year, but then started using and finally “gave” to her when we moved across the country. it’s not that i’m an of-european-descent giver, i’m more of a “fall-in-lover of things i buy for other people” giver. i am learning to compensate, largely by only purchasing for gifts things i don’t like myself. good plan, no?

this is my brother in law’s mug that I bought him in Hawaii. naturally, it’s my favorite at their house and the one I always use. his nose is cute and rounded and my thumb rubs it as I drink.

the mug’s nose, that is.

I think he needs a name, the mug, like ojibawa.
